The VARAN bus is an open standard. The VARAN-BUS-NUTZERORGANISATION (VNO) – founded in 2006 – holds the rights to the real-time Ethernet technology.
The independent organization supports members with implementing VARAN and is continuously involved in research, development and the implementation of new technologies. Thereby, the organization works in conjunction with other leading standardization groups.
Specifications and design documentation can be acquired from the VNO free of charge. As a user, you decide whether to use the prefabricated hardware components or the VHDL source code for the bus integration. This provides you with a flexible complete solution.
